Hi darling dancers!

We are off to a wonderful new year! It was such a joy to see your happy faces and twinkling toes during the month of Sept. We have such a wonderful group of dancers that truly care about each other.

The level 6 had a very successful car wash after the Nutcracker auditions and made a record amount of money to use on company jackets and workshops. They even washed a fire truck! Super job girls and thanks to all the dancers that provided baked goods for the bake sale too. Not to mention thanks to all of you who got your cars washed and purchased goodies.

I hear that our new Jazz teacher Mrs. Harris is getting rave reviews from the dancers and parents. I told a couple of girls (actually I sang to them) "somewhere in my youth or childhood... I must have done something good!" What a true blessing it was that Mrs. Harris moved to Southern Maryland just when we needed a Jazz teacher.

Please watch for Jazz workshops from a teacher that has been studying in LA too very soon!

Good Luck to all dancers auditioning for DTH this Sunday. I know you will do well.

Keep up the good work and I will see you all very soon as I will be in MD Oct. 9-16 and Oct 26-Nov. 1st.

Love you bunches!

Dancingly,
Mrs Dunaway

Hi there Bun Heads!

Yesterday Mrs Wojcik and I spend some time figuring out this blog thing. It is new to me but I am working on it. Pretty soon, the link will be set up and we can talk when ever we want. I will send you photos of CA so that you can see what a real coyote and roadrunner look like. BTW... Honor chased a bobcat the other day! Yipes!

I am in the County now but headed over to watch Sarah Beth perform in her dance concert. Pretty hard to believe she is a SENIOR. I hope she finds more opportunities to perform as I will miss watching her dance. Oh well next week I will get a chance to watch all my other daughters dance because I will be teaching most classes next week.

CONGRATS to all of the girls that auditioned and were accepted to ABT. I think this year is a record number for us. I am so proud of you all.

I will see many of you this Sunday at the Kennedy Center to watch NYC Ballet. Yippee! Lets meet at the statue during the intermission. Did you know that in Britain they call it an interval?

Love you bunches! Are you stretching? Are you remembering to bring your pointe shoes to every class? Is your hair perfectly put up in a bun?

Hey I have a blog!

Hi dancers,

I miss you all so much and my friend Ellen at Crazy for Ewe helped me set a blog so that you can see what I am up to in CA.
